Privacy
This notice explains what DisputeWorthy stores. It is a draft for a lawyer to review. It is not a finished privacy policy.
What we ask for
- Your email, if you want a copy of a result.
- A YouTube link and the claim details you paste.
- Your answers about where the content came from.
- A short story in your own words.
- Whether you want product notes later. That box starts off.
What we never ask for
- Your YouTube or Google password.
- Your legal name or home address.
- Your card number. Stripe handles payment.
Why we store it
We store a check so we can show you the result, email a copy, and refund you if you ask. We do not sell personal information.
How long
We delete checks, dispute text, and the emails we logged after 90 days. Keep your own copy if you still need it.
Who else sees it
Only as needed to run the product:
- Stripe, for the $9 payment.
- The database host, when Supabase is connected.
- The email host, when Resend is connected.
- The writing API, when an AI key is set, and only the facts you confirmed.
- YouTube’s public video API, when a key is set, for title and length. No login.
- Vercel, to host the site.
- Plausible, only if the owner turns that analytics script on.
Analytics
Our own count stores a page name and an event name, such as “free check finished.” It does not use a tracking cookie and it does not store your IP address. Private links are stored as “/r/:token”, not the real token.
Admin
The owner can open an admin page to see checks and payments. That page is locked with a secret.
